How do I pay for a map of the UK to download into my Uniden GPS.I have regstered my GPS with Uniden and being through all the download map Uniden sites, but cannot find where I Pay for the map to download into my Uniden Trax 430 GPS.Thanks.Derrick Newton XXXXXMcDowall 4053Australiaemail:XXX@XXXXXX.XXX
Optional Information: Make: Uniden Trax 430 Model: Trax 430 Already Tried: Spent a lot of time on the Uniden site to try and buy a GPS map of the UK, but I cannot find where to pay for it to download it into my GPS. I have clicked on the UK map button and cannot find a button to add the map to 'add to cart" so I can pay for it.
Hello and Welcome,Sorry I didn't see your question earlier.May I ask when & where you purchased this unit? I only ask because this unit was "discontinued" some time ago, and the last version of the maps available were in 2009. I had contact with another buyer some time ago and they were informed that additional maps would not be developed or released for the unit..So if this is a recent purchase, I would advise that you try to return it for a refund and apply that to getting a more modern device from a different GPS manufacturer that sells "current" models and have current maps. If you want a recommendation, I would say Garmin is a good manufacturer with units that cover most of the modern world, including the UK, Australia, Europe, and the US. I know this may not be the news that you wanted to hear, but I hope you will understand that I will not give you and answer that is not honest and true.Take Care, Greg A.
