how can I connect a namco plug and play to a projector
Already Tried: not much, the projector has a video port and the video game has a video plug but I don't know what to set the projector to
Hello, my name is Rusty. I can help you.
Plug the red white and yellow plug into your projector. The, press Input on your remote control until Composite is highlighted.
the projector only has a yellow video port and an s-video port. the menu does not have a composite setting
Ok. Press Input, what do you see? It may say "video" or "a/v"
it says vido signal......auto and component.....aout
we have tvs that say exactly what you are describing but the projector doesn't have those settings
Ok, you should be able to view it on Auto. Make sure the Namco is on and plugged in.
Ok, what is the model number of the projector? I'd like to take a closer look.
epson 8100
Ok, hang on while I look that up. It will take me 5-10 minutes.
On your projector remote control, press VIDEO. This will activate the composite input.
i dont have a remote control....i have controls on the side that i can access
Ok, stand by another minute...
Press the source button on your unit until Video is highlighted.
there is no "source" option. under the info section it says source: component
There is an input selector button on your projector. Right now it is looking at component. Keep pressing that button until it displays Video
the input signal has 7 options: auoto, ntsc, ntsc4.43, pal, m-pal, n,pal, pal60, and secam
Ok. The input signal should be left on Auto. I'll take a look to see if I can find a picture of the input source button.
the component option has 3 selections: auto, ycbcr, and ypbpr
Ok, that's not the one either. You want to press the button that is directly between the power button, and where the projector says "Lamp"
It's not in your menu, it's just a button.
got it! is there any way to get sound directly from the projector, and do i still get 4 more unrelated questions later or is this it
If you signed up for the subscription, you have as many as you want. I'll check to see if the projector has speakers. Hang on...
Just as I thought, you need to use an external sound source.
ok thanks, is this gonna cost the entire $48
Yes. But like I said, if you signed up for the subscription, it won't cost you anything next time.
i dont think i did, can u hook me up on that
