I have an Asus K52F laptop that keeps shutting down on me every time I watch a video. Before it shuts down, it slows down and freezes up. Before this happened, it used to make a loud humming noise. What's wrong with it?

What exactly does K-Lite Mega Codec Pack do?

Windows supports certain video files natively, but not all. Your video could be conflicting with codec support. K lite just makes windows compatible with more video and audio codecs. Did it work?

Does it work with online videos or just disc videos?
