I have an iPad2 that is WiFi only. I own the Navigon app on my 3GS iPhone and love it. Can you recommend an external GPS receiver that works well with the Navigon app for the iPad?

Customer : worked. However, I was hoping to have your recommendations concerning a receiver from a vendor in Apple's MFi (Made for iPad) program. I have read about the GNS 5870 receiver. Do you have a thought about that product or can you recommend another MFi GPS device?

The GNS 5870 is similar in function, size and price to the QStarz receiver and will work in the same way.

If you want to stick with a MFi device, then the GNS 5870 would be a good option.

The only edge on the QStarz device is that is has a slightly longer battery life.
