I have a Pantech P2020 phone ... I currently cannot send text

Resolved Question:

I have a Pantech P2020 phone ... I currently cannot send text messages due to message "Memory Full Delete Items". I have dleted all text messages, past calendar items, and phone call history. I have also turned the unit off and back on. This has just started and I have not added any apps. What Memory is full and what do I need to delete to free space to text

hi, thanks for using JA:

Perform a master clear of the phone. I will delete everything on your phone and start it with factory defaults configurations. You will have to backup the files you want to keep.

To complete the master clear, follow these steps:

1. From the standby screen, tap Menu.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Scroll down until you find Reset. Tap Reset.

4. You will have to enter the device's password. If you don't remember it, or you haven't changed it, use 1234. Tap OK.

5. Tap Master Clear. Press Yes to confirm.

Wait around 5 minutes to complete the master clear. Then you will have your phone configured as new, so that error won't be displayed anymore.

Regards! If that helped, don't forget to accept my answer!

Actually I figured out that for some reason the phone is recording parts of some phone calls ... I think when I'm using BlueTooth .... these were eating all the memory ... I deleted these and everything is back to normal ... thanks ...
