The built-in DVD player in my TV wont accept discs. INCORRET

Resolved Question:

The built-in DVD player in my TV won't accept discs. INCORRET DISC shows on the screen. Here's my question: Can I plug a separate DVD player into my TV? The TV works perfectly even though the DVD part doesn't work anymore. The TV/DVD is about 5 years old.

Electronics Pete :

Hi there,
Yes you can connect an external DVD player to your Sansui TV.

Electronics Pete :

There are a number of ways you can connect it, depending on the DVD player you choose.

Electronics Pete :

If you connect a DVD player using a SCART lead, for example, you can then view the DVD by selecting the SCART input on your TV.
