sa-bt300 panasonic
updated firmware but lost power 15 minutes in. now unit will not come on at all.
Surely there is a firmware reset to a rom?

One of the factory resets is to hold the power switch for 3 seconds. Let me know if this does not work.

yes i did that. no response

I was afraid of that. The next reset will totally reset the unit.

Press power on the unit to turn off the unit.
Press and hold the "fast forward" button and press POWER and the OPEN/CLOSE button on the unit at the same time for more than 5 seconds until “PLEASE WAIT” is displayed on the unit.

The unit should turn on and off.

i have the manual, I tried that too. unit stays off.

checked power and power cord OK. it seem the firmware is screwed and it requires a manual reset button as the processor does not seem to be reading the user buttons.
