My remote on my bose home theater system is not working. I

My remote on my bose home theater system is not working. I have changed batteries and it still doesn't work. What can I do?

Hi there happy to help.


You can try the following to see if your remote is sending signals.....


Using the camera function of a cell phone watch through the phones camera screen while pointing the remote at the phone and pressing buttons. You should see a "flash" through the phone. If you don't see this your remote is damaged/not functioning.


Double check your batteries and that they are installed correctly.


Other than this, you may need a replacement remote. Any number of things could be wrong with the remote, from loose connections to failed components. Most of the time they are not serviceable items since replacement is usually cheaper.
