On DVD player what does a yellow triangle with the word PSCAN mean? Screen is split in two.

Hello welcome to Just Answer.

The DVD player is sending a progressive scan signal to a non-progressive TV (interlace). You need to disable the progressive scan (PSCAN) on the DVD player. I don't have the manual for that system, but it might be the "PSC" button on the remote just under the open/close button.
