Hi and welcome to JustAnswer,

Should you still need assistance...

Initially, the Sansui has kicked into protect mode. The only easy user doable try of a check/fix is to ensure that the speaker and its wires are connected correctly, no shorts or stray strands of wires touching its pair. All others require that the Sansui be opened up to effect repairs.

Options then are:
  • consider a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair if and only if comfortable working with electronic components & circuitry, use of a DVM/VOM, a soldering iron/station and safe practices with electrically powered devices. Access to a Service Manual or at the very least, a schematic diagram would be a necessity;
  • should you be uncomfortable with a DIY, perhaps your best bet would then be to consult with and/or seek the services of a reputable Repair Center or a qualified professional.

If a DIY is being considered, preliminary checks would be on the amplifier's output, the speaker protection relay, secondary output voltages.

Would you be comfortable proceeding?

If yes, perhaps best form of assistance is to provide you with a copy of the Repair/Service Manual. Would this be acceptable?

Good luck and thank you for asking.
