I have a Hitachi DZ-MV 550A camcorder and I need what they call a single sided 8cm DVD-R ver 2.0 or DVD-Ram 2.1 Hitachi number is XXXXX will any brand disc work and are they all in rounded dvd holder?

Hi There,What you require is a Mini DVD-R disc, you should be able to buy them from your local electronics store. You can use any brand disc, I tend to look for branded ones as I find they are more reliable.I'd advise you go for the double sided ones, as you can turn the disc over and record onto the back of it, you tend to get a bit more bang for your buck.You can also use the Mini DVD-RAM discs which you can record to multiple times.I've linked to the discs I use below:http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-LM-AF30U3-Rewritable-DVD-RAM-Camcorders/dp/B000BFLLQ6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1272736384&sr=8-2Hope this helpsJames
