Have a Sharp cash Register Model#XE-A12S. Just changed the batteries in it and nowcan't get it to operate. Unfortunately I cannot locate the manual that came with it.

The error code I'm getting is E32 & then 000000 across the display window. I need to
use the register in a few errors. Would like to get info. on how to get it operational again.

According to the manual I just gave you, it says that you need to make a clerk code entry. I'll search for your specific manual in electronic download format and will let you know if I find one.
