My kindle is frozen and won't turn on. I've plugged it into the charger for several minutes and it still isn't working. Help!!??
Optional Information: Make: KindleModel: 2 Already Tried: Let it sit for a while, have held the power switch on for 15 seconds, have it plugged into the charger - nothing seems to be working.
Hello and thank you for using Just Answer.I'm hoping that you failed to trigger a reset. If not, it's expensive to repair these. The way to reset the Kindle 2 is as follows:
1. Slide the power button and hold it for 30 sec.
2. Release the button and wait for 20 sec until the screen begins to flash.
3. As soon as it does, plug in the power and charge it for a few hours.
Please let me know if this doesn't work and I will locate instructions for exchanging your Kindle.
