Sorry, but is there any difference between the CQ-C5301U and the CQ-5301U.
I took the removable front control panel off and there are not 2 sets of holes for the U shaped tool....
Expert:  G.E. Adams replied 7 years ago.

Yes, there is a difference. I misread it.

The Panasonic Support network is down right now. I can see the manual but can't get to it. I'm trying to locate an alternate source.

Yes - that's it. (Sorry about the link - it shouldn't need a password; not sure what happened there).
I think I have the removal tool shown (from an old Panasonic radio) but I cannot see wher to use them.

OK!! Thanks! for finding this. It seems I have to lever the trim plate and that will require me to remove the trim front dash of the Hyundai (it may not be worth it for was a $90 radio unit!).
Anyway, if i can find a way to remove that at least I know how to get the radio out now.
The car was in an accident and has to be scrapped so I was trying to salvage anything of any value.
Thanks again! i'll add a bonus for all the extra work you had to do.

Actually.....

Go here and create an account, then you have access to all of Hyundai service stuff including how to remove a dashboard.

You don't have to be a dealership or anything. Anyone can create an account.
