Hi, thanks for using just answer. I may be able to help

Was it working before or did you just install it?

My question is has it ever worked before or is this a new problem?

Customer replied 1353 days and 2 hours ago.

I have not done anything different with the TV till I started having problems ---about three days ago. Since then I have pushed many buttons on the remote, both the TV and the Dish network. Nothing seems to work.

It sounds like one of the following:

1. You have either changed the input or changed the channel on your TV. Try pushing a button on the TV remote labeled input or source. If that doesn't work try putting the TV on channel 3 or channel 4. You must do this with the TV remote, not the Dish Network remote.

2. Something has come unplugged from the TV or the Satellite. Make sure that all the cable connections between the satellite box and the TV are still connected.

3. Your TV or satellite box has gone kaput. Try using a DVD player or VCR to see if you get picture with that, if so you may have to contact dish network to have a technician swap your box.

Let me know if you have any questions.

tried setting the 3 or 4 channel that does not change anything

Changed the batteries (again) in the remote

There is NO INPUT OR SOURCE BUTTON on my remote control for the TV

No loose cables

Yes, if the DVD is working then the TV is Ok.

what is the make and model of your TV?

is there a TV/VIDEO button? Or maybe a "game" button?

Customer replied 1353 days and 1 hours ago.

Audiovox 19

LCOTV & DVD

MODEL # XXXXX s ---- in the little square on the remote is:

TV DVD AV IN YUV In

MTS CC (in white) Display Sound

Sleep TV Menu Exit Picture

NO Game button

How do you switch from the DVD to the TV?

Customer replied 1352 days and 22 hours ago.

My Audiovox Tv has a built in DVD player----on the top right had side of the remote is a function button. When I want to watch a DVD I use that button to go to DVD and then I can control the DVD with the remote control.

I do not know which buttons you had me push ---but I think we have found the problem. Anyway----- I NOW have a TV that is working. I am not going to hold my breath and may have to contact you at a later date, but at least I know there is someone out there that will help me. Thank you all so very much.
