My HP Officejet Pro L7500 Series Printer wont print. It says

This answer was rated:

My HP Officejet Pro L7500 Series Printer won't print. It says it's "offline" and I can't get it back. I have put my disk in three times and thought it would reinstall but that hasn't worked. I have also unplugged it and plugged back in and that doesn't work. HELP! :-)
hi,

please try the following...

> click on "start-->control panel--> and faxes"
> right click on the printer icon, delete the pending documents
> make it online
> close all the windows
> click on "start-->run", type services.msc
> double click on printer spooler, click on stop and then click on start
> restart your computer

If the printer is shared, the print server ( the computer which is connected directly to the printer, which has shared the printer) must be turn on and the printer itself, in order to have others print.

What is the printer spooler?
printer spooler is a service (program) on your computer that is important for printer services..

if that doesnt help then

You should try to switch off the printer and disconnect the unit from power supply/batteries. Also disconnect any other units connected to it. Leave the system disconnected for 30 minutes. All the electric charges stored in the system should drain out.. It should do a soft reset itself, then restart it.
