Hi there and welcome to Just Answer. Thanks for asking your question.

Do you have a DVD player hooked up? If so, how is it connected?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Yes, the television set and dvd player were interconnected by att technician couple of days ago, as part uverse system connection
Expert:  Steve G. replied 7 years ago.

Ok. I need to know where the wires go from the back of the DVD player??

Describe each one please.

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
3 wires are connected to Tv. One wire to power
Expert:  Steve G. replied 7 years ago.

Ok. So the DVD player is connected to the TV with red, yellow and white RCA cables?

All you have to do is select the correct input on the TV. This setup completely bypasses the U-Verse system.

Do you know how to select the input on the TV? If not, tell me the make and model and I'll try and help you further.
