What is the model number of the TV?How long have you owned the TV?What have you tried to correct the problem?Thank you again for trusting us with your problem. Please reply as soon as possible so that we can finish answering your question.
Although Sony will not admit to the problem of the coating peeling from the screen there is little that can be done except for replacement of the screen. Not knowing the model number, which would be on the back of the TV near where the power cord is attached, I cannot tell you if the problem is the protective screen, or the CRT itself.
