Customer Question

I have a Technics organ model SX-GA3 that does not come on. Bought in 1994. Any ideas?
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Technics model SX-GA3 bought in 1996
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It hasn't worked in 2 years. We've done a couple things but it didn't help.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Would it be worth anything if I tried to sell it as is?

That is a really nice organ.

Usually this is a problem in the power supply board. Most likely a failed transformer on the that circuit board.

If you aren't a technician, you would need to purchase that entire board, still not bad, and easy to replace ;-)

No soldering is required it simply plugs into the wire harness.

I will help you all the way through this.

The best place to get that board (if still available) is: https://www.partstore.com/OpenSearch/Model/Matsushita/Technics.aspx

I would call for this part:

1-***-***-*******@******.***

In any case, I will stick with you until this is complete please rate my service kindly.
Also it is the only way I am credited for my time and expertise with you.
Once you rate, I will be notified and will add your question to my priority list so you can reach me anytime until this problem is solved.
Then you can reach me by simply replying to this message anytime.
Thank you and have a Wonderful day!

No additional cost to rate kind;-)
