Customer Question

When I removed the top cover from my CVP-207 I noticed a thin foil wrapped cable laying on the left (bass) side. It is coming from the display board, but for the life of me I cannot figure out where it was plugged in. It has a blue plastic end, and almost looks like a piece of foil tape, rather than a cable. Now I have no display, just a blank lit screen.

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

By all means, post a photo of it tomorrow morning.

Something was left out of the internal setup, if it doesn't have a display any more. That cable might possibly be a data cable (of the ribbon cable type) for the display.
