I have a Roland RC 550 about 4 years old. Great amp, have it

Customer Question

I have a Roland RC 550 about 4 years old. Great amp, have it connected to a set of Roland V-12 drums that I occasionally play out. I tried to hook it up as I have in the past for a gig, and only the 3rd input jack works, the other three are dead. I had been using unbalanced cords with Direct box but no sound at all. Now direct from drum brain to amp any clue why the others won;t work. Thinking I have something set wrong Thanks

Hi Jim,

Expert:  ITPeter replied 1 year ago.

Is it the KC-550 amp that you have?

Have you tried checking for any broken connections at the rear of the input panel?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No I have not tried that yet...The AMP is the 550, and is on a gig site. I will have access to it tomorrow. The last time I used it (9) months ago, they all worked, the other day, only 3 worked

Ok, let me know if you find any broken connections, or damaged solder joints inside the panel....
