I have purchased 2 YPG 235 keyboards. They barely last 2

Customer Question

I have purchased 2 YPG 235 keyboards. They barely last 2 years because the keys that are most commonly used, usually around the middle C, stop working when depressed. Slowly the 'silent' keys start spreading Left & Right. This most recent keyboard is just over a year.
Granted, I use these keyboards multiple times daily at different venues. Any suggestions?

Hi there!

This can usually be fixed by cleaning the electronic contacts under the keys using contact cleaner - the keyboard will need to be disassembled, and the electronic strips can then be cleaned by rubbing with alcohol. If the electronic strips are badly worn out through use then they will need replacing.

I had already done that on my own. Did NOTHING! A lot of screws and taking apart and putting back together for nothing. This is a consistant problem with each Yamaha Keyboard. They last nearly 2 years before they start breaking.
I am VERY UPSET! because they took my money when I didnt want to pay. So far this service is over priced and done NOTHING to help me.
