I have a GR 20 guitar synth. The gh E string quit

Customer Question

I have a GR 20 guitar synth. The high E string quit responding. I thought it was the my Roland Gk3 but I have another MIDI guitar and same problem. I then suspected it was the 13 pin cable and I ordered another cable. Same problem. Now I suspect it is the GR20. Can you help me trouble shooot the problem. I also checked the senitivity responce on my GR 20 when I played the High E string no signal. The other 5 strings work just fine.
Thank you

Hi Irland,

This may be a software issue.
Try updating the firmware on the GR-20 and let me know if there is any improvement:
