Metronome settings can be found under the 'System' parameters. An alternative to making adjustments there is simply to press the TEMPO button and press 'Click[F7]' to toggle between the metronome sound ON or OFF.

I don’t want just the clicking metronome… I want an instrument... a bass.
How do I replace the clicking ?
Expert:  ITPeter replied 1 year ago.

The Metronome setting is only provided as a clicking sound.

You could try using an accompaniment instead.

I want an instrument background in 4/4 time for me to practice the piano in time instead of just a clicking noise.
