New Fender Blues Deluxe reissue amp stopped working. No power. Indicator light does not turn on. Replaced main fuse but no difference
Optional Information: Make: Fender Model: Blues Deluxe Already Tried: Put in new main fuse
Hi and welcome to JustAnswer,Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only... Initially (to my recollection), there is a thermistor between the fuse and the transformer. This serves as a thermal fuse and as it implies if it is open, then just like a blown fuse, the Fender would be completely/electrically dead.A multimeter / continuity tester would be needed to test the thermistor de-soldered/out-of-circuit. Normally, it would test very low Ω.Please post back how things turned up and/or should you need additional information.41077.2300631944
The rating of "I expected more" is duly noted.Have you at least checked for the continuity/resistance of the above described thermistor? Please consider a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair if and only if comfortable working with electronic components & circuitry, use of a DVM/VOM, a soldering iron/station and safe practices with electrically powered devices.41077.893672419
