I am trying to connect a Behringer K3000FX keyboard amplifier to a Yamaha DGX640 keyboard. The keyboard works fine on its own and the amplifier powers up and lights up so, both units appear to be working. My problem is that when I connect my amp cable(Monster cable) from the keyboard 'phono out' jack to the input jacks to any of the four channels available on the back of the amp I get no sound. I have tried various adjustments to the sound volume control adjustments on the keyboard and the amp to no avail. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
Hello, my name is Rusty. I can help you.First, let's only concentrate on Input 1 on the amp. Turn the power off for now, and make sure you are plugged into the L (Mono) input of input 1. Make sure the master volume is up half way, and also the channel volume. Make sure the "To Mix" button is pressed in (so that it sends it to the mix)On the keyboard, your manual is calling for the headphone output to be used to go to the amp. Use a 1/4" cable to make the connection from the keys to the amp.Turn your headphone volume down, and turn on the amplifier. Use the headphone level to adjust the volume of the amp.
