stereoaz :

you would first have to disassemble the unit to get to the backlite board. it may be solder connection problems on the board or burned lites. most of the time ,ive seen connection problems. you would have to resolder all the board connections with a pencil soldering gun.if still not working then most likely the lites are burned out.you may be able to inspect the bulbs with a magnifying glass.
