I have a Korg Oasis and I cannot turn off the pressure sensitive tempo. Please help.
Hello,I'm a keyboard technician and I would like to see if I can help you get this solved.I'm not 100 percent sure what you mean by "pressure sensitive tempo". I may need a little more information to fully answer your question.I have seen some Oasys keyboards where the arpeggios or karma immediately start playing when the keyboard is turned on. If this is what you are referring to, then what you need to do is calibrate the pads under the screen. To do that, press the GLOBAL button. Then touch the button in the top-right corner off the screen to bring up the page menu. From that menu select Pads Calibration.Next, go from left to right and gently press and release each pad. After the last pad, press ok on the screen. If I have misunderstood the problem then please describe what the keyboard is doing, and what you want it to be doing, and I will try to answer as best I can.
hi. thats not actually the problem im experiencing. if i have a tempo (drums etc) playing in the background it sounds great until i start playing. the moment i hold down a key the tempo changes. the longer or harder i hold it down, the faster the tempo gets. please help
That's a strange one. This might take some figuring out. I have a few questions that may help with that.Does it occur on all programs and combinations our just specific ones?Does the tempo value in the top right corner of the screen change when this occurs?Does the tempo knob work normally? The last question is relevant because a strange quirk of Korg keyboards is that if one control stops working another will sometimes mistakenly adjust its value. For example, when a joystick wire breaks the damper pedal will cause a pitch bend. The same type of thing could be happening here.MusicTech1441045.5674437153
