I just got a new Skil electric drill. I forgot to check its line voltage, which is 120 volts. I plugged it into our 220 volt outlet. Can this still be repaired?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: It's new, from the US. Got it through an ordering company, Galleon, here in the Philippines. Is there a Skil service center I can go to for help in Davao or General Santos Cities?
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: I prefer to have it done by a Skil/Bosch technician.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Bosch is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: It's the Skil 6277-02, 6.5A, variable speed, with built-in level
