The push button for my SL-6180-RX door chime broke. I

The push button for my SL-6180-RX door chime broke. I purchased a new button from home depot, but it's different from the original one. An employee told me that it would work, but it doesn't. how can I sync the new button with my old door chime?

Customer: For the last hour.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

Customer: No, the door chime was working fine until the button broke. I even replaced the battery before purchasing the new button.

Both the chime and the push button have a code setting and they have to match. There are 3 jumpers that are set on 3 of 8 positions in both.
