I never had anything to do with SPCM's. I can only comment on the NEC codes. I'll opt out and let another expert help you.

Hello and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be happy to assist you with your electrical question.

1) I am unable to locate anything on your local code.

2) To play it safe, install at least 1 GFCI receptacle and then install any other downstream duplex receptacles to the GFCI LOAD side and you will pass inspection.

If you have any additional questions, just let me know and I’ll be glad to answer them for you.

Otherwise, don’t forget to rate me before you log Off.

Thanks...............Kevin:)
