I need to replace a smoke detector, it was tossed out during the reno. There are 3 wires, back, white and yellow with a quick connector. What brand of smoke detector is this?

The use able service life of detectors is 8 yrs. If that old, I suggest replacing all of them. It having a yellow interconnect wire is not what can be identified. If you look at the other detectors, you should see a make and model number. You can find an exact replacement with that information.

Like I wrote above, the detector was tossed out. If I new the make and model I wouldn't be talking to you right now. The only other detector in my townhouse does not have the same connector.

To be comparable they all need to be the same. To verify they interconnect touch the white and yellow wires together. As I told you, detectors are recommended to be replace every 8 yrs. If my answer didn't help, I'll opt out.
