Light flickering is an indication of a failing connection. The first place to look is in the canopy. The blue wire is to the lights and the flickering generally is a bad wire nut that is acting. Check it and let me know what you find.

The next place to check is the connections for the light kit. Drop the lights and check the 2 wires connected to the kit.
