Mike, I have a similar problem in a different circuit. The circuit provides power to an outside flood light. Really wierd, between the "local" switch closest to the light and the breaker are two outlet boxes. They read o volts, but I have 55 volts at the switch. The only other component is another outlet box. I thought that might be the problem, disconnected it from the circuit but still have 55 volts. the circuit is a 2x circuit, but everything from the remote switch looks okay. Bot***** *****ne, I read o volts at an outlet box 10 feet from the switch but 55 volts at the switch. Help!
