Customer Question

I have a 120V ac circuit off of a wall switch. The circuit is for a wall light. With the switch off the AC voltage reads 1-2 V between black and white wires at the end of the circuit. House is about 50 yrs old and the wiring appears to be fine. Any suggestions on what to look for when I start to troubleshoot the circuit(s)?
Thanks

Give me the count and colors of the wires in the switch box. How many words attached to the switch?
