Your plug in tester shows that when there is an open neutral. That is caused by a bad connection on the neutral at an outlet ahead of the first problem outlet. Plug in a lamp,in the on position, in a problem outlet. Take your tester and go to all outlets working or not, plug in and wiggle side to side. In most cases, the action will make the connection and the light will come on. That outlet is where the connection is bad. Open the outlet and correct the problem.
