My 50 amp hot tub GFI trips They cost $100 is there anyway I can check it or the circuit?
JA: What's the brand and model number of your appliance? How old is it?
Customer: probably 20 years.
JA: What are all the symptoms of the problem (error codes, flashing lights, etc.)?
Customer: it just trips out when I reset it
JA: What happened just before this problem started? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: none
JA: Anything else you want the electrician to know before I connect you?
Customer: i had changed the wire 2 days prior but the gfi worked good afterward but quit soon after
