Hello and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be happy to assist you with your electrical question.

1) Please provide me with the model number of the Woods timer?

2) Does the wall switch box contain a group of white neutral wires that are spliced together with a wire nut?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
59018 modle and no white wires

Thanks for the confirmation.

1) I recommend that you return the Woods timer since that model requires a white neutral splice in the wall switch box and you don't have any white neutrals present. T The timer won't work without a neutral connection. The only other alternative to install the Woods timer is to install a new cable and it is not worth the extra expense and effort in my opinion.

2) I suggest to purchase an Intermatic model ST01 timer since a white neutral is not required for this timer. The Intermatic timer is also a better quality manufactured timer model than the cheaper Woods model:)

3) See link shown below for the Intermatic model that is sold at Home Depot:)
