Took ceiling fan with light down. in the ceiling there are

took ceiling fan with light down. in the ceiling there are black and white wire together,two white wires together and one black wire. The fan has one each black,white,blue, and green. how do I connect these back?

Hi Judy, welcome to justanswer.com

From your description it sounds like there is a single switch that will operate the light but the fan would have to be controlled with the pull chain .

If this is the case, connect the white from the fan to the two whites that are together, connect the black from the fan to the black & white that are together, then connect the blue from the fan to the single black.

Alternatively you could connect the black & blue from the fan together with the single black. This would control the fan & light together.
