How do I wire up a Craftsman Electric motor? I have three

Customer Question

How do I wire up a Craftsman Electric motor? I have three wires: black, white and ground(green). I have###-##-####Electric motor. Where do the wires go. There are no instructions. It appears the black will go on black tab, green is ground but I have a white wire and no match. Inside the motor I have a red wire with no real match. While I have a brown tab that has a connection tab associated. And I have a tab not associated with any wire. So where does the white cord wire.

Hello Richard, my name is***** me try and assist you with your issue. Is there no name plate or other information on the motor it self? Can you see any markings on the wires or terminals inside the motor? Able to upload a picture?
