Hello and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be happy to assist you with your electrical question.

1) Home Depot or Lowe's or any local electrical supply store sells sloped recessed can light fixtures with IC ratings.

Here is a link for Home Depot:

Here is a link for Lowe's:

2) I assume that you will want to use a remodel can light and not a new construction type?

Sloped recessed can lights are available in both IC rated remodel and new construction type.

Those are not shallow depth. The problem is I need shallow depth cans. I know they are out there I just can't find them.

You said you were preferably looking for 6" cans in your original question. The models that I linked are 6" cans.

I don't believe anybody manufactures a shallower remodel sloped can light other than 6", at least I've never seen them. All of the Halo and Juno lights appear to be 6" depth's.

I will opt out of the question and perhaps another electrical expert here has come across 5" shallow sloped recessed cans.

No need to reply back to me, you will be notified once another expert picks up your question.

Hi, I'm Mike G and I submit after looking at the picture, that you have more depth than you think. I suggest probing the ceiling for a measurement. You can cut a coat hanger and put it in a drill to make the measurement. Let me know what you get.

It is just over 7". Not much room. I know there are shallow sloped cans out there I just can't find them.

I'll look around for you, but I know they have cans that will fit but they aren't sloped.
