Welcome. My name is ***** ***** would be glad to assist.

Is the light controlled by one switch or 2 switches?

Do you have a 2 lead voltage tester for troubleshooting if needed?

Let me know and we can continue,

I do have a voltage tester

Ok, thanks.

Most likely the switch has failed with the internal contacts stuck inside.

Turn the switch to the OFF position.

Remove the switch cover, then very carefully, use one lead to the ground wire in the box and the other lead to the side screws on the switch

If you measure voltage on both screws, then the switch will need tot be replaced.

Switches fail in one of 2 ways, first they fail with the contacts open and the light never works, or the second way in which the contacts have stuck to each other internally and the lights will never shut off.

Let me know anything further needed as you test and check,
