Replaced 20 gal pressure tank, 20A breaker and 30-50 switch...sparks on left side with black wires and trips breaker

Please verify the wiring on the pressure switch. From left to right on the terminals you should have Line-Load-Line-Load. Verify that you do not have the two line wires side by side and that the wire/cable leaving the pressure switch is not dhorted/grounded.
