Customer Question

I have a Hampton Bay 52" ceiling fan / light. (NOT remote control). The forward reverse switch is bad. Can I just take it out and run the fan in a forward mode?

We do not use the "reverse function" on our ceiling fan. Just trying to NOT replace fan. And wire fan with pull chain speed control ... in forward mode.

Hi, I'm Mike G and will be glad to assist you. Yes you may bypass the switch but I suggest replacing it. Go to for the part.
