I am trying to sire a light in a little room with my compressor. When I plug it in the cfic goes off. I am making a small room for my dust collector and compressor. I am trying to install a lilght by using 14/2 wire and just plugging it into a wall outlet. When I pllusg it in the gfac disconnects.

Hi, I'm Mike and I'll be glad to assist you. If it trips the GFCI and not the breaker, you have a ground touching a neutral in either the fixture or the plug. Check it out.
