Welcome. My name is ***** ***** would be glad to assist.

Most ovens require a dedicated 240 volt source to function because of the heating elements.

What is the make and model of the oven?

Or you can look at the nameplate where the Model number is ***** and find the section marked:
V or Voltage
W or KW
A or Amps

Post those and we can figure what the need is on the oven

Thanks

Ok, thank you for the information.

Unfortunately, the range cannot be connected to a standard 120 volts supply.

It has a fairly large electric oven and heating elements.

The range will have to be connected to a larger cable, the same size of an electric dryer.

You will need #10 wire and a double pole 30 amp breaker.
Manual requirements:
Only a power supply cord kit rated at 125/250 volts 30 Amps should be used. Cord must have either 3 or 4 conductors.

New power installations require a 4 conductor and existing installations are allowed to use the 3 wire

Let me know anything further to assist on the situation, just reply and we will work out the details,
Thanks

Ok, very good.

If you scroll down that page, you will see that the oven uses a lot of power and it cannot operate off 120 volts.
