I have a 220 outside electrical outlet; can I plug my rooftop Christmas lights (110) into that outlet?
Hello and thank you for your question. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I'm here to help you.

1.What is that outlet for?

2. How do you know its 220v?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

The outlet is for a fish/meat smoker located outside the home.

Does it have 2 horizontal prongs and one round?

How do you know if its 220v?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

The electrician that installed it said it was 220v; requirement for the smoker. I don't have access to it but yes, I believe it has two horizontal prongs and on round one.

Then I'm sorry to bring bad news but it can not be used for Christmas lights as it's 110v and it will burn the bulbs and its fire hazard.
