How do you check and see if a fuse has burn out? I need to check a midget fuse 1 amp 600 vac.
Hello, and thanks for your question! You can check you fuse with a continuity tester, or with a standard voltage meter that has a setting for ohms. Put the meter in the ohms position and then conect the probes from the tester to each end of the fuse. If the fuse is bad you will get no reading from the tester. If the fuse is good, then you should get a high reading on the meter. The ohms setting would look like an upside down horse shoe.I hope this helps answer your question.Looking forward to your reply, charles
