I have a 23kw electric furnace what size breaker do I need is it a 125 or a 150?

There should be a label on the unit telling us what minimum and max circuit breaker is. Do you see such a label? Your unit will draw 94 amps, so 125 amp breaker will be adequate

The rule is amp draw X 1.25 so that would be 94 X 1.25 = 118
