Customer Question

I have 2 outlets (1 in each bathroom) that do not work. All other outlets in the bedrooms connected to the bathrooms work. I checked the breaker box and reset them. Do I need to replace the outlets? I feel it must be something else since it is 2 outlets...

Hi, I'm Mike and I'll be glad to assist you.
1) Do eiher of the outlets have test and reset buttons?
2) Do you have a 2 wire voltage tester?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

i would suggest looking around for a GFCI that is tripped. It could be anywhere in the house.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I went around the house to look for GFCI but could not find one. Any other suggestions?

Expert:  Mike G. replied 3 years ago.
To determine anything else a 2 wire voltage tester will be required. You can get one at any home center for around $20.00.

You not having a tester and my not being on the job to troubleshoot, doesn't rate a poor service rating from you. With the information you supplied, there isn't anything anybody can tell you to do. Get a tester and we can continue.
